The aim with this book is to give you a knowledge in how to develop new sustainable products and innovations in a fast and safe way independent of if it is within the private, public or the idealistic sector.
The principles discussed here are boiled down from experiences and insights on a large number of practical innovation endeavors as well as Insider Action Research from ongoing development, change management, and innovation projects from different areas and branches of the business world as well as the non-commercial world.
In short the practical work and research has led us to the conclusion that, independent of product and/or business to be developed, clear advantages are gained using dynamic methods instead of the old classical/traditional ones taught and used generally. Examples of such advantages are lower failure risk, shorter time to market, less money and effort, better solutions reached etc.
Therefore, this book also highlights the differences between the classical/traditional and the dynamic mind settings and approaches. It gives you suggestions on how to think, organize, and act to be successful in an increasingly complex and un-linear world.
One conclusion is that, independent of the product or business you are to develop, the use of dynamic principles over the old classical/traditional ones you are accustomed to, will give you and your organization clear advantages. When the dynamic principles are applioed to the development of new product or businesses, or "innovations", the effects are even more striking!
