This book is a fictitious 'verbatim' report of the first imaginary great trial for war criminals held in London sometime in 1944 or 1945. Based on real facts using direct quotes from Mussolini and other important war criminals. Cassius holds that anyone assumed guilty of having assisted in the unleashing of world war has the right to state his case and to speak for himself. As Cassius believed (rightly) that Mussolini may not have the chance of vindicating himself before a public tribunal he wrote this book with the purpose of ensuring that justice is done.
