He compares evangelical Jimmy Sawggart's ministerial style to shamanism, savors a gnostic flavor from Southern Baptist Edgar Mullins and evaluates the effectiveness of Joseph Smith and Ellen White's revelation and prophetic leadership. This work is certainly not an exhaustive or comprehensive exegesis of the religious writings of American born religions.
