Published by the Scandinavian section of SNCC. The SCAN-SNCC published a number of magazines or pamphlets under the title Black Power in the period 1967-1969. The mode of publication was not consistent; some issues were numbered, some not.
This unnumbered issue treats to a large extent the 1968 elections, reprinting the election ads for Huey Newton, Bobby Seale, Eldridge Cleaver and Kathleen Cleaver. There are anonymous texts on the election, on police brutality, on the Huey P. Newton trial, and on the local sections of BPP in Oakland, New York, Seattle, Iowa and Los Angeles. An interview with Rap Brown and a text by Newton are translated into Swedish.
