Mycket gott skick. Kjöbenhavn og Kristiania, Gyldendalske Boghandel / Nordisk Forlag 1906-09. 166 (2) + 124 (1) + 207 + 210 (2) + 189 (2) + 96 (1) pages in private (R. Larsens Bokbinderi, Helsingborg) parchment spine hardcovers with decorated endpapers and double title labels. 3 parts per volume, with contents at the end of each part. The work is richly illustrated, mostly in black and white but also in color - mostly with illustrations in text, but also with plates - with portraits, images of various machines and schematic/explanatory images, equations, tables, maps, star maps etc. Short gift inscription on first (blank) page in both volumes. Parts I-VI are titled: "Verdensbygningen", "Lyset", "Kraft", "Elektriciteten", "Varmen" and "Af jordklodens fysik". --- The first half (approximately) of the contents of the first volume has light crease lines on the top corners. Apart from that it is very well preserved with only insignificant flaws. Contents of volume 2 also has light top corner creasing, but to a somewhat lesser extent - the first 1/3 roughly. There is also a couple of small areas on the spine with scuff marks. The color tone of the spines differ slightly. Contents in both volumes are clean, without markins, without foxing and only slightly age toned. Overall a very good copy.
