The book is illustrated with frontispiece and 22 glossy paper plates along with text illustrations, totalling 66 illustrations of prints, paintings, caricatures and photographs. --- The book is about publishers, book dealers etc. in London from the Elizabethan period to today (being 1951). --- Apart from bumped spine ends, the book has no flaws worth mentioning. The jacket is ok; alittle worn around the edges and it has a tear on the back side, repaired with scotch tape from the inside.
