(IV) 312 (4) pages + 10 plates (of which one is frontispiece) in publishers cloth hardcover with imprinted text to spine and text/decoration to front board. Plates contain black and white illustrations by Gilbert Gaul. --- Spine is cocked and has been repaired around the back board outer hinge, foot side. From foot and roughly 4 cm. up there was a crack, opening up the cloth. It has been glued back. Corners and spine ends are worn. Contents age toned and with owner's name on front free endpaper, but otherwise fine.
