"Excellent visual reference! – Yep, as the title states, pretty much every page is a photo. What's more, every page has multiple weapons displayed. Although it does cover blades, the book also includes firearms as well. But I use it for swords primarily - and in that regard it has a lot of reference material. What I like is the size of the book. It is a "landscape" format - being very wide. This allows me to place it on my desk as I look at it for reference. I have lots of other books that are very large, and are not nearly as easy to use."
"This book is amazing! – Not only does it have wonderful information in it, but the pictures are beautiful and the specifications are great. Often it is difficult to determine scale when you're looking at pictures, but the "size" feature in the information block was a nice touch.
The thing that amazes me is the cost. It was so inexpensive for how good it is. It is hard-bound and has an almost textbook feel to it. Despite being sized like a textbook, it reads like a dream - very approachable language and interesting facts.
I would definitely recommend this book."
